Actor Chris Pratt, known for his roles in "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Thor," "Garfield," and “Jurassic World,” appeared in a recent Fox & Friends interview to discuss various topics, including his daily faith life.

Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy asks him several questions during the 10-minute interview regarding his marriage, family, prayer life, and Christian faith.

Pratt explains that one of his first priorities in the morning is to pray.

“[I] do a little prayer time, drink my coffee, try to have a little moment to myself, check in with my wife,” Pratt says of his morning routine.

While Pratt is not Catholic, he and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger  (a practicing Catholic), regularly attend a Catholic Church and have agreed to raise their children Catholic.

Later in the Fox & Friends interview, the actor reveals his plans for growing closer to Christ during the Advent season. He explains he partnered with the Catholic app, Hallow, the most popular prayer app in the world.

“We're doing a prayer challenge, so an Advent prayer challenge,” he says. “We're focusing on Psalm 46, which is ‘be still and know that I'm God,’ so bringing stillness to the chaotic holiday season.”
“It's about finding moments of peace and grace and connection with God amidst the chaos of, not only the holiday season, but just kind of the way the world feels right now, very chaotic and stressful,” Pratt adds.

This is not the first time Chris Pratt has spoken openly about his Christian faith.

In March of this year, Pratt told Fox & Friends viewers to “get into the routine of prayer … and put on the armor of God every day.”

In January 2024, Pratt revealed he listens to the “Bible in a Year” podcast.

In 2018, Pratt went viral for his MTV speech encouraging people to pray and “be careful” with their souls.

These are just one of many examples of Chris Pratt openly speaking about his Christian faith.

Let us pray for more Christians in Hollywood to speak openly about their faith!
